GBR (GLOBAL BEST OF RECORDS) is an international system for the registration, expert evaluation, verification and documentary presentation of outstanding achievements and world records within the World Book of Records for Asia and Africa.
GBR is focused on identifying, verifying, registering and promoting outstanding achievements across the countries of Asia and Africa, with particular attention to sports, ethnocultural, scientific, technological, industrial, social and other significant achievements.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF GBR
The official language of GBR is ENGLISH.
All international applications, supporting documentation, expert materials, verification procedures, Commission decisions, registration records and the principal international edition of the World Book of Records for Asia and Africa are prepared in English.

A HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR GBR
In 2026, for the first time, the World Book of Records for Asia and Africa — GBR will be published in the Turkish language.
The Turkish edition represents an important milestone in the international development of GBR and strengthens its presence in the Turkish-speaking cultural and sporting environment.
The Turkish edition will present selected registered records and achievements while preserving the official English original as the principal international version.
