PRESS CONFERENCE IN ALMATY: GBR AND VALIKHAN FILM LAUNCH A JOINT FILM PROJECT “STAR BALALAR”

On August 3, 2026, a press conference was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, dedicated to a new joint project between GBR (GLOBAL BEST of RECORDS) – THE WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS FOR ASIA AND AFRICA and Valikhan Film.
The press conference focused on the preparation and production of the upcoming film “STAR BALALAR”, an ambitious cinematic project aimed at highlighting talented young people, their achievements, aspirations, and their contribution to the cultural and social development of Kazakhstan.
During the event, representatives of GBR and Valikhan Film presented the key objectives of the joint project and discussed the upcoming stages of film production.
A special part of the ceremony was the presentation of the GBR Ambassador Certificate to the film’s director, Valikhan Smagulov, in recognition of his contribution to the development of culture, cinema and projects promoting outstanding achievements and human potential.
As a GBR Ambassador, Valikhan Smagulov will contribute to the promotion of the values and mission of GBR and to the development of projects that unite record achievements, culture, education, creativity and the stories of remarkable people.
The cooperation between GBR and Valikhan Film marks a new step toward combining the world of cinema with the international record movement and creating inspiring stories for audiences in Asia, Africa and beyond.
