Located in Saxony’s Vogtland region, the historic Göltzschtalbrücke is recognized as the largest brick bridge in the world.
Built between 1846 and 1851, the monumental railway bridge is 574 metres long and 78 metres high. Its construction used approximately 26 million bricks, forming a spectacular multi-level system of arches.
